We have been running a monthly Shut Up & Write session for the TASA Thematic Group Sociology of Youth, and the next one is scheduled for this Wednesday 6th September. However, attendance has been really low, so it probably isn't what thematic group members want.
So, what we will do next week is have a discussion about what you want out of the thematic group. Is it events? On line or in person? A chance to talk about your own work? On line speed dating style networking? Facebook group space to chat?
Wednesday's session will be 3:00 PM until 4:00 PM (AEST). If you can't come, tell us what time would work better and we will have a couple more sessions to find out what people want at different time slots.
