Privacy Policy

The Australian Sociological Association (TASA Inc.) is committed to providing its users with an Internet experience that respects their personal privacy concerns. Our privacy policy and practices have been developed to comply with the Australian Privacy Act 1988, including its amendment in 2014, and the Spam Act 2003.

TASA have teamed up with Club Express to provide you with a membership specific web platform. ClubExpress is fully compliant with the strictest privacy regulations including the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). They strictly define what personal data is collected and how it is used; what is shared and why; how personal data is stored and retained; as well as member and non-member individual rights, including the “Right to be Forgotten”. See Club Express’s ‘Security, Privacy and Ownership of Data’.
