Nominations are being called for the following positions on TASA's Executive Committee for the two-year term November 2024 – November 2026:
- President
- Vice-President
- Secretary
- Treasurer
- Indigenous Portfolio Leader
- Public Sociology Portfolio Leader
- Equity and Inclusion Portfolio Leader
- Thematic Groups Portfolio Leader
- Postgraduate Portfolio Leader
Those elected will hold office for two years, from ratification at the November 27th 2024 Annual General Meeting (AGM) to the November 2026 AGM. Candidates must submit the completed Candidate form. Two nominators must complete and sign a Nominator form. Candidates and nominators must all be current members of TASA. Where a member wishes to stand for more than one position, separate Candidate and Nomination forms must be completed for each position. An election will be held for any portfolio that receives more than one nomination.
Signed Candidate and Nomination forms must be submitted by midday (AEST) Monday July 22, 2024. The Candidate form should have a 200 word biography/position statement attached.
Please email the signed forms to: admin@tasa.org.au by midday (AEST) Monday July 22nd, 2024.
If more than one nomination is received for any position, an election will be held online from midday AEST July 23rd, 2024 through to midday AEST August 14th, 2024. If an online election is required, all members will be notified via email after midday Monday July 22nd, 2024.
