ON TOMORROW!

Hi ~~first_name~~,

In case you are not aware, there is a terrific, online, postgraduate event on tomorrow! We invite you to join us at 3pm (AEST) TOMORROW, Thursday 5th September for our TASA Thursdays Post Grad Session: Zine and Zine making as sites of research brave spaces with guest speaker Rachele Reschiglian.

Research often challenges scholars on multiple levels, but what if we reframe it as a "space of care"? Tomorrow's TASA Thursdays event will explore the concept of "Research Brave Space," using Rachele Reschiglian's (they/she) experiences with zine-making during their PhD on queer digital intimacies in Italy. We'll discuss the difficulties encountered in this process and the strategies to bravely overcome them, offering insights into creating supportive and courageous research environments.

About Rachele Reschiglian:
Rachele is a Ph.D. student in Social Sciences at the Department of Philosophy, Sociology, Education and Applied Psychology of the University of Padova (Italy). They hold an MA in Communication Studies and Cultural Encounters at Roskilde University (Denmark). They are a research assistant for scholastic projects regarding gender, intimacies, and digital media. Rachele is also an intercultural educator for NGOs and institutions.

Rachele's works engage with intercultural communication; gender, sexualities, and queerness; digital cultures and intimacies;
environmental social movements and visuality. They are interested in qualitative multimodal and participatory research.
