My name is Ali Smith, and I work on membership matters for TASA. 

 

As you may know, TASA has recently developed Career Stage Groups as a way of supporting members at their specific career stage.

 

We have a Senior Career Stage Group for all members who are highly regarded and experienced in Sociology and related fields. If this sounds like you, and you have not yet joined the Senior Career Stage Group, all you have to do is log in to the TASA website as a member, go to your membership profile, and look for the link 'TASA Groups/Additional Members' under the heading 'More Member Options'. If you have previously joined a thematic group, it is the same process. There are instructions with screenshots shown below. 

 

If you'd like some help with this process, please let me know on membership@tasa.org.au and we can make sure you don't miss out on the opportunity to be part of this initiative. As you may have seen in the Newsletter, the inaugural Convenors of the Senior Career Stage Group are Kristin Natalier and Raelene Wilding.

 

We are looking forward to having many of our members engaged in this initiative, accessing opportunities and building a vibrant network of senior career sociologists.
