Dear TASA TG conveners,
Thanks to everyone who responded to the poll in my last email. Based on the feedback, we will be having our first online meeting for 2024 on Thursday 22 February from 12-1pm AEDT (i.e., Canberra, Melbourne, Sydney, etc time). You can join the meeting at this link, which we will also send to you as a calendar invite.
This meeting is open to all TG convenors, including HDR reps. If you are a convenor with questions about TASA funding applications/opportunities, if you have any other questions about TG activities, events, initiatives, etc, if you want to share thoughts and ideas about running TGs, or even if you're keen just to catch up and meet other TG convenors/TASA members... then this meeting is for you.
The meeting will be recorded for the benefit of convenors who can't make it. In addition, I'm more than happy to meet individually with convenors with questions about TG funding, initiatives, etc.
And a reminder that the deadline for funding for TG activities in the second half of 2023 is 1 March. For details about funding, check the Conveners' Manual or just ask. If you're working on an application already, or if you intend to do so, or if you have questions about future applications, I'd be happy to provide advice if needed.
As always, don't hesitate to get in touch if you have questions, feedback, etc.
